Hello , I hope you had a good week? I had an excellent time touching grass and spending quality time with my extended family last week, but the downside was I could not get a newsletter out during that period and I apologise for the absence. The most important thing that happened while I was away was Apple announcing John Ternus as the successor to Tim Cook. Tim will no longer be serving as CEO, but it is great that he is staying on as Chairman of the Board. He gets his fair share of criticism, but the man deserves his flowers for what he delivered with Apple Silicon. We look forward to seeing what John has in store. On to this week's news, Motorola launched several new devices including new foldables in its Razr lineup. The recently launched Framework 13 Pro is having a strong sales run, which is encouraging proof that people actually care about upgradeable and repairable tech. On that same note, we may soon see removable batteries make a comeback, pushed by the EU, they were also responsible for pushing the universal Type-C standard. There is also more good news on the right to repair front, as a major attempt to weaken repair laws in Colorado was recently defeated.
