A word from Race Against Dementia
"Race Against Dementia was founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE after his wife, Helen, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. He launched the charity to bring the innovation, speed and focus of Formula 1 to dementia research driving progress towards treatments and cures - faster.
We support and train pioneering scientists across the world, giving them the funding, tools and F1-inspired mindset to push boundaries and accelerate breakthroughs.
This November, weβre proud to be a Silver Charity Partner at the Silverstone Run Festival. By joining team Race Against Dementia, youβll be part of something bigger. Every mile you run helps power pioneering research, driving us closer to preventions, treatments and, ultimately, a cure." |

Maggieβs provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks. Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggieβs Centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need. Our Centres are warm spaces that provide practical and emotional support advice; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people in a similar situation to you; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea. |

Shine Cancer Support is the only UK charity focused on supporting adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who have received a cancer diagnosis β any type of cancer, at any stage. Shine offers tailored support to young adults focussed on the challenges that their diagnosis brings before, during, and after treatment. Approximately 210,000 adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s are currently living with or beyond cancer in the UK. We want to support each of them via life-changing programmes and activities, while also training healthcare providers to better understand the issues they face. We aim to ensure that no young adult in the UK faces cancer alone. We're over the moon to be partnering with Silverstone Run Fest this year. To those who are taking part to raise awareness and funds for Shine, thank you so much for your support. As a small charity, it means the world! |

Sport in Mind is the UKβs leading mental health sports charity that uses sport and physical activity to empower people, improve lives, and tackle the stigma surrounding mental health. The charity works in partnership with the NHS and community organisations to deliver accessible and inclusive activities for all. Sport In Mind has transformed the lives of over 31,000 people struggling with mental health challenges since its inception in 2010. Research shows that being active is clinically proven to improve mental health, and so the Charity works to provide access to sport for all who need it, transforming the lives of some of the most vulnerable, disengaged members of society. We are thrilled to be a charity partner at this yearβs Silverstone Run Fest. |
