Going Out: Emerging from the Pandemic. Our two-year isolation is coming to an end. As pandemic restrictions are lifted, we slowly greet the outside world that has been transformed by COVID-19 in many ways. For the upcoming issue of The Filipino Internist, we invite you to share personal stories, poems, and essays around the theme, “Going Out: Emerging from the Pandemic.” Write about your first out-of-town travel. Tell us about your experience in attending your first face-to-face conference in years. Share your hesitations and motivations in physically meeting friends and family for gatherings. And what do you think about Zoom meetings or virtual patient consults through telemedicine: do you think they’re here to stay? We’re open to a broad range of interpretations of the theme. Surprise us! Submit your work in Word (.doc/.docx) file through lancecatedral@gmail.com and don’t forget to include GOING OUT SUBMISSION in the email subject line. Include a two-sentence bio-note after the article, indicating your name, affiliation, and something interesting about you. Submissions may be in English or Filipino. The deadline for submission is on October 26, 2022. |
