Council of Ministers announcement with new benefits for foreign interest companies coming in Cyprus

On 30/11/2022, the Council of Ministers approved the Amendment of the Policy for the Registration of Companies in the Register of Foreign Interest Companies. The Decision modifies the eligibility criteria of foreign interest companies and specifically includes the criterion of a company’s obligation to prove an initial investment in the Republic of at least €200,000, which should be proven by presenting the appropriate certificates.

Medical advertising in Mongolia

Manufacturing, import, export, storage, sale, monitoring, distribution and use of medicine for human and veterinary use, including conventional medicine, bio preparations, diagnostics (hereinafter the “Medicine”), medical devices, and biologically active products are regulated by the Law of Mongolia on Medicines and Medical Devices. The Law also provides a few broad limitations on the advertising of medicines and biologically active products. In addition to this regulation, the Law of Mongolia on Advertisement governs advertising in health sector.

Uzbekistan takes measures to support business

In accordance with the Resolution of the President “On measures to support business entities to reduce the negative impact on the economy of a sharp drop in air temperature” No. ПП-43 dated February 3, 2023 (the “Resolution No. ПП-43”), business entities will be given the opportunity to pay tax debts that have increased (formed) as of February 1 in relation to January 1, 2023, in installments in equal shares (from March 1 to July 1, 2023) without accruing interest, setting additional conditions and requiring security.
