Products derived from common reed fibers

As part of the FIBSUN project, innovative insulation panels are being developed, made 100% from common reed (Phragmites australis) – a natural and widely available raw material that represents an ecological alternative to conventional construction materials.

Semi-rigid - 100% Common Reed

Designed for applications that require greater flexibility and adaptation to different surfaces. This type of panel offers good thermal and acoustic insulation properties while maintaining a lightweight and easy-to-handle structure.

Rigid - 100% common Reed

Developed for situations that require greater strength and structural stability. Ideal for applications where a more compact and durable material is needed, without compromising sustainable performance.
