There's a chill in the air as Autumn begins. As the leaves fall, we let go of what no longer serves us, create a new space as we enter into our inner journey, and shine our lights from the inside out. Nourishing soups are the order of the day along with time spent in quiet contemplation. Enjoy the harvest of your endeavors over the last nine months! We are moving into a very powerful eclipse season, which I explain in the main article below - enjoy!

As Zia and I only just got back from Nova Scotia, we have not yet created a new Shambles to Shambala for the month of October. Monday Meditations

I am continuing with the long-distance zoom connection on Mondays at 6:30 pm Pacific. The zoom meditation is open to anyone who wishes to attend from around the globe. Please send an email to descendingdove@gmail.com for further information.

We are now doing in-person Thursday morning meditations, limited to 8 people, and by invitation only to those who were previously involved.

I'm  committed to  continuing my work with one-on-one Gene Key sessions, which have proven to be profound experiences for many. I also work with groups or businesses who are starting out on a new venture. I look at the profile of each team member, the birth profile of the company/project, and how those involved can best work together while bringing their individual gifts to the fore in a wonderful co-creative fashion. 

This process has fantastic potential for maximizing efficiency and success. Projects often fail because of the challenges that arise through human ego and shadow, and this process can reveal what those potential challenges could be before they arise. This process can also be used to resolve issues that may already exist within an organization.

Eclipse Season!

The month began with Zia and me facilitating a brand-new Gene Keys workshop in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, where we dove deep into the Ring of Gaia through the Dream Arc. It was so new that we had felt we needed to get Richard Rudd’s permission to do it and, fortunately, he agreed! He has been planning to get more into the Codon Rings himself at some point, but is currently very busy with the Dream Arc Online Retreat.

The Ring of Gaia reveals that we are nature and nature is us and this allows us to commune deeply with Mother Gaia and all her creatures. It has three Gene Keys deeply embedded in it: the 19^th, 60^th, and 61^st. The 19^th Gene Key includes the gift of Synaesthesia, where the person has this deep and profound knowing of the needs of an animal, plant, or even a person that they relate to. It is the Gene Key of the “Whisperer." It is not so much telepathy but more of a deep knowing from within what the creature needs. At this level, the person and the creature have become one. The same being!

The 60^th Gene Key is more connected to the Earth itself and the limitations that have been placed upon us as we move through the World. This is the return to Magical Realism, throwing off the shackles of external control and navigating our way through life with an open, organic structure, expecting miracles to occur - and they do! Synchronicity can become outrageously wonderful at this point.

The 61^st Gene Key is really interesting because it contains the shadow of psychosis where people have been mind-controlled to believe things that are simply not true and are kept locked down by the system itself. People with this Gene Key have known the truth all along but can get trapped into a psychotic state by other people’s belief systems.

We began the retreat with a fire ceremony on Friday evening, where Zia gave us the opportunity to burn our name tags - a symbolic way of freeing ourselves from all the "trappings" of our daily identity and expand into a realm where anything was possible. Our role in this workshop was to get us all out of our heads and into our bodies by communing with nature and Mother Earth’s creatures. This requires deep, quiet contemplation, and going within to connect with nature - that is when remarkable things can happen.

We were fortunate to have an exquisite forest area where we were able to spend some time in this deep inner state. As you entered this sacred area, the peace was palpable, which made it easy to drop in, relax, and be still.

On Saturday evening, there was an opportunity for sharing poetry, stories, music, and dancing that got us all moving and laughing. Here is "Creating the Wave," one of the beautiful songs we sang together, written and performed by Rhonda Turner - it became our anthem for the entire retreat!

At the end of the weekend, we did a final offering to Gaia back in that sacred forest space through a bread blessing bundle with flowers, sprinkles, and other beautiful offerings from the group - including an Oil of Gaia. Zia invited Christine and Marshall, our newly-wed hosts, to dispatch it into the river with a lighted candle in the centre. It was a magical, heart-centred conclusion to our weekend of honouring Gaia/Mother Earth.

We had a wonderful group of people with us and everyone contributed with brilliant questions and sharing. We are grateful to Christine and Marshall for all they did to take care of us for the weekend. And also to Laurie for sharing her beautiful home for the indoor part of the retreat. Mahone Bay is a very special place and if you ever get the chance to go there, make sure you visit The Cosmic Hippie Boutique!

And now, as we move deeper into October, we have a couple of powerful eclipses coming up on the 14^th and 28^th. The first is an annular Solar Eclipse, or “Ring of Fire,” where the Moon doesn’t quite cover the Sun as it is at its furthest distance from Earth. The Sun is seen as a blazing light around the outer edge of the Moon - thus, the "ring of fire." This is a reset moment and is inviting us to set off in a new direction based upon what has been happening in our lives over the last few months. It is taking place in the sign of Libra, which is about our relationships, and this may be a time to let some of the old relationships go, if they are no longer serving our needs, and moving more into alignment with our soul tribe. I know many who are yearning for that in their lives. It’s a time for setting new intentions.

It is happening in the 32^nd Gene Key gift of Preservation, which is asking us to get really clear on our own personal values. What truly matters to us, without any interference from anybody else. The Dream Arc life key/mammal for the 32^nd Gift of preservation is the “Reindeer” so we might be in for an early Christmas present!

I personally believe that the partial Lunar Eclipse on October 28^th is going to be very significant. The nodes of the Moon dictate where the eclipses fall, and they have been in the Taurus/Scorpio axis for the last 18 months. Now the nodes are in the Libra/Aries axis and the reason why the Solar Eclipse is in Libra. There is a residual energy for this Lunar Eclipse as it is the last one in Taurus/Scorpio for many years to come. It is like a final completion moment. The last Hurrah! As you know, much of this last 18-month period has been about the revelation of secrets often connected to corruption in many forms.
I suspect there might be one major one yet to emerge around the Lunar Eclipse which just might shock the World into its collective Awakening! It is taking place in the 28^th Gene Key, the deepest fear anyone can have, and its bird is the Crow! (It is interesting to note that when we were in Mahone Bay, the local residents were celebrating their annual Scarecrow Festival.)

Let us continue to focus on what we DO want our future world to be, rather than on what we don’t. It’s time!
