INSPIRATION!!

Finding inspiration actually came easily last year due to some K-Dramas my daughter got me to watch. I highly recommend watching Tomorrow, King the Land, and most recently I watched When the Phone Rings! These are all on Netflix and were great! (Even though I'm not a big fan of subtitles, I'd do it again!)

While inspiration was found in movies and shows, it was also found in the author community. I LOVE being able to chat with my peers about their experience in the industry. I didn't interview as many as I planned but I am forever grateful to the talented authors, readers, and editors I got to interview this past year! An extremely awesome high in 2024 was attending the final Book Bonanza. I had the honor of attending as a signing author for 3 years and this last one, I attended as my dear friend's assistant. I'm pretty good at that job! But truly, what a wonderful event as an author to get fired but and excited about your work just by simply talking to others.

However......

Some of the lows though were pretty low. I started the year with a broken knee. 10/10 do NOT recommend. But I managed to get through and honestly, I will forever be grateful for that break because I got to have one last phone call with my uncle who called to check on me when he found out. A true blessing to hear his voice once more before his untimely passing.

And then our family dog passed away toward the end of the year pretty unexpectedly. She was a great friend and we were very sad to see her go. She was our baby, but we couldn't be more thankful for the time we had with her. 

2025 IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!
