I hope this finds you creating and connecting, because here’s what I know to be true: During uncertain times (and always), self-care, connection, and creative expression are lifelines back to resilience and joy. 

These guiding forces have shaped my work from the beginning, and they continue to light the way. This is why I created ART SPA — a cozy, care-centered, creativity-boosting retreat sanctuary — petite in size and profound in impact.

Held in my beautiful light-filled Portland studio and adjacent Airbnbs, ART SPA is a place to pause, breathe, move, tend, and create in the luminous company of kindred spirits.

With only six participants, this experience is small by design so everyone feels truly seen, heard, and nurtured with personalized attention, deep connection, and abundant care.

Together, we'll step away from the noise and into a loving creative community.

You'll Receive...

• Beautiful private accommodations in either my Art Studio, my adjacent Airbnb, or a lovely neighboring Airbnb one block away (specific rooms will be assigned based on your needs) 

• All art supplies including high-quality acrylic paint, ink, oil pastels, brushes, mark-making tools, water bottles, watercolor paper, and unstretched canvas (all rollable for easy transport home) 

• All decadent and nourishing organic meals, snacks, and beverages throughout (catered in-house by incredible chef, Aleya Love, and a few out at my favorite restaurants)

• Abundant support from me throughout the retreat, including a 45-minute one-on-one session. 

• Breathwork and movement guidance to support your nervous system and body

• A nourishing, one-hour, on-site massage from my favorite massage therapist

• A special live, candle-lit sound bath 

• Access to on-site sauna, cold plunge, and a beautiful private bathtub

• Cozy evenings around the backyard fire pit

• A group coaching session with artist, mentor, and speaker, Emily McDowell

Questions and Answers

What's the flow of each day like? 

On the first day, we'll arrive slowly with some playful connection, a soulful ceremony, and a beautiful catered welcome dinner. After that, each day will include guided freedom-centered art practices, along with ample spacious painting time and open studio options. Our days will also include gentle movement invitations, flow writing time, spacious time to just BE and connect, delicious food, and nourishing self-care offerings. Aka: The most dreamy kind of days, five in a row. 

Do I need painting experience? 

This is a loving, judgment-free space designed for all levels where there are no mistakes and your intuition leads the way. Come as you and leave with a full cup of inspiration and a rekindled feeling of aliveness.

What kind of art will we be making? 

We will be working on a series of experimental, mixed-media art pieces with a focus on authentic expression, moving emotions, becoming more brave, and connecting the dots between creativity and aliveness. The focus will not be on finishing one or two large canvases (that's way too much pressure). Instead, you will leave with a big bundle of fresh work and new approaches to keep you inspired long after the retreat. Think of it as a creative reboot. 

Why only six people?

I've never offered a retreat this small before now, but personally I find intimate gatherings to be the most connected and nourishing these days – easy on the nervous system, deep on connections, with lots of personal attention. Prepare to be pampered...

The Earthly Details

Date: April 9 - 13, 2025

Location: Portland, Oregon (in a beautiful tree-lined artistic neighborhood)

Number of participants: Six 

Cost: $4275 US (all-inclusive - can be paid in 2 installments) *does not include airfare

Cancellation policy: After booking, if you need to cancel for any reason, you'll receive a full credit toward a future ART SPA if you cancel at least two weeks before the retreat start date. If you cancel within two weeks of the retreat, you'll receive a 50% credit toward a future ART SPA. I understand that life happens, and I want to offer flexibility while holding space for this special experience. 

*Revenue from this gathering will help to offset the studio space for low-cost local community events.
