Hi Friends,

A lot is in motion for me right now.

I've been painting up a storm (sharing a couple here), and prepping for a big painting sale next month. I just hosted an apple pressing party this weekend on the land, which was (literally) so sweet. And tomorrow, I'm flying to Greece to celebrate my 50th birthday with a pack of 15 girlfriends from all parts of my life.

It's a big, full, gratitude-soaked moment, indeed.

My parents always taught me that experiences and quality time with loved ones were the most valuable things in life, and that's always felt true for me too. I've been smiling knowing how happy my mom would be to know I'm celebrating fifty surrounded by friends in a place I've always wanted to go.

It's also not lost on me that I'm essentially creating a retreat for my birthday, which speaks to how much I love bringing people together to explore the world and deep connections in meaningful ways.

It's like my favorite thing.

Speaking of Adventure...

If you find yourself craving your own creative trip to look forward to, I want to let you know that there are still a few spots open in my Art of Aliveness Retreat in beautiful coastal Spain, May 26th - June 2nd, 2025.

I'm so excited for this one!

Taking place in a gorgeous private villa nestled in the otherworldly landscapes of Andalucía, Spain, we'll spend eight days immersed in freedom-centered art practices, gentle movement, flow writing, transformational breathwork, and kindred community connection in a judgement-free zone.

We'll also get to go on two local adventures to Granada's Alhambra Palace and the picturesque Cabo de Gata Natural Park and feast on incredible chef-made meals and local wine.

What I hear from my retreat participants, again and again, is that these retreats not only set their creativity free, but they also inspire more aliveness in all areas of their life - like a whole life reboot :-)

If you're feeling called, it would be a joy to share this time with you.

PS. I'm happy to be collaborating with Uptrek again for this retreat, because they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an incredible experience, from start to finish. It's like having your very own travel concierge!

Retreat Reflections...

“Not only has Flora taught me how to put color on a canvas, but she’s also taught me so many lessons about life: how to let go of what I *think* I need, how to take big, scary risks, and how to stay present and be open to what life might bring me. Her enchanting process is a gift to any creative who yearns for more, and it will leave you feeling both grounded in your present and fired up for what’s to come.”-Tiffany Han

“The best art experience I’ve ever had.” – Bobby McPherson

“I had no idea that four days could hold so much opportunity for transformation, exploration, new experiences, and power. I’ve stepped far outside my comfort zone, but I’ve found myself home.” -Kristen Heinlein

I feel beautifully stretched — I arrived overwhelmed a little nervous. I ended up feeling bright, happy, and inspired. I transformed without even having that as an intention, and I love that even more. Flora’s style is open, and there is an ease that oozes out of her. She made it feel so easy. I could gush for hours. Thank you for such a beautiful experience. I can’t wait for my next retreat! – Brenda Carolan

“This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is rare to find a teacher who can connect with others in such a powerful and inspiring way. I learned as much by observing the demos as I did through exploration on my own.” -Rachel Relin
