As I mentioned in my last email, I'm excited to share three creative offerings with you each month. At the start of each month (today!), you'll receive a simple and doable practice to help keep you connected to your creativity.

These Monthly Creative Commitments are inspired by a tradition we love in my FREE FLO community, and I hope they'll spark fresh inspiration for you as well. 

For October, we're weaving words with Poem-ish Play. 

I use the term "poem-ish" to take the pressure off. No need to be a poet. No need to be “good” at writing poems. No need to structure them correctly. You might rhyme. You might not. I imagine you might surprise yourself :-) 

Perhaps you've never written a poem before — this is a great time to start!

Below, you'll find a sampling of poem-ish prompts to spark a tiny reflection or expression. Think of it as a daily pause to notice, feel, and string together a few words that capture something about the moment.

By the end of the month, you’ll have a little collection of poem-ishes — a word-woven snapshot of October, 2025.
