Hi from Cécile!

Confidence isn’t just about how we feel—it shapes how we show up, speak up, and take up space.

For women, it’s often the invisible factor determining whether we seize opportunities or stay in the background; whether we negotiate for what we deserve or settle for less.

But here’s the risk: When confidence is neglected, it doesn’t stay neutral. It erodes.

The cost?
- Missed promotions and leadership roles
- Ideas left unspoken in meetings
- Settling for less in negotiations—salary, recognition, influence
- Increased stress, self-doubt, and even burnout

Confidence isn’t just a personal trait; it’s a career accelerator.

The good news? It’s trainable. Like a muscle, it strengthens with practice, mindset shifts, and the proper support.

So, let’s ask ourselves: Are we actively building our confidence or passively allowing it to weaken?

“You don’t have enough Executive Presence!"

Sophie heard this again in her performance review.

For the fourth year in a row, she hit her targets. Led teams. Took extra projects and completed leadership training.

Yet, regarding a promotion, she was told: “Something is missing.”

Last year, it was her communication skills.

    The year before, her confidence.

    Now? Her Executive Presence.

Here is the unspoken truth and what I learned
