Dear friends! Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ! On behalf of REM, I greet you in the name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ! Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! It is a celebration of life and Christ’s victory!
For the children of God, Easter is not merely a day of remembrance, but the greatest celebration of faith, love, and the triumph of life over death. It is the demonstration of Christ’s redemptive work that reveals the depth of God’s plan for humanity’s salvation. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification” (Rom. 4:25). These words reflect the very heart of the Gospel: the cross and the resurrection as a single act of God’s love and mercy. The Resurrection of Christ is not only a testimony of His divine power, but also the living foundation of our hope. He is risen to intercede for us before the Father (Rom. 8:34), so that every believer may boldly draw near to God, knowing that we have an Advocate. His victory has become an invitation to a new life: “that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again” (2 Cor. 5:14–15). In this invitation there is transformation of the heart, renewal of the mind, and the birth of genuine freedom. Christ is risen, opening for us access to the things above where He is sitting at the right hand of God (Col. 3:1). From now on, the spiritual reality of the Kingdom of God becomes near and attainable for everyone who calls upon His name with their whole heart. Easter lifts the soul above the temporary and perishable, directing it toward the eternal and imperishable. Both in those distant days and today, the message of the risen Savior sounds like living water for a traveler fainting in the desert. It comforts the brokenhearted, strengthens the weak, restores hope to the despairing, and fills the heart with inexpressible joy. The Resurrection of Christ is the source of new life that never runs dry, the light that never fades, and the truth that abides forever. Dear friends, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your prayers and sacrificial support of the ministry of the Gospel! May the Lord richly bless you! Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed! In Christ, Rev. Daniel V. Okhotin, President of REM |
