Peace be to you, dear friends! My name is Rev. Pavel Sitkovsky, and I am a senior pastor in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. On March 4, near the city of Dnipro, Ukraine, at around 6:00 PM, a serious traffic accident occurred. A Christian brother driving a truck was transporting about 5 tons of humanitarian aid for those in need in the combat zone. Due to severe road conditions, damaged roads and deep potholes formed after winter, the truck hit a pothole, causing a wheel rim to burst, making it impossible to continue moving. The Christian brother contacted friends in Dnipro, who quickly brought a replacement. They began removing the wheel, but it would not budge. They sat in the cab to rest a little, and at that moment, their vehicle was hit from behind. The force of the impact caused them to collide with a car in front, spin onto the roadside, and crash into a tree. We thank God for His mercy: everyone survived. It is evident that the Lord preserved them, for had they been outside at the moment of the impact, the consequences could have been tragic. The other driver admitted that he was distracted and could not brake in time. Unfortunately, the truck, which served to deliver humanitarian aid, is completely destroyed and cannot be restored. Dear friends, we ask for your support in prayer and, if possible, financially. At present, we are without transportation and cannot continue delivering aid to those in urgent need. In this difficult time, it is a great comfort for us to know that we are not alone, that there are fellow believers who, even without knowing us personally, support us and share our burden. May the Lord richly bless everyone who responds and reward your good and sacrificial hearts.
