The Brevard County Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Proposed Budget is now available. The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners will hold public hearings on its ad valorem tax rates and budget on:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 5:30 pm

Hearings will be in the Brevard County Commission Chambers located in Building C at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940.

Ellis Road Project

Ellis Road is the No. 1 transportation priority for Brevard County and the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO).

Ocean Rescue Lifeguards 

Brevard County Board of Commissioners votes in favor of using Tourism Development Tax (TDT) revenue from the marketing fund for countywide beach lifeguard services.

The Brevard County Tourist Development Council (TDC) opens second grants cycle for sports and events.

SOIRL Septic Program

The Save Our Indian River Lagoon program is working to reduce septic pollution affecting the lagoon by funding the extension of sewer lines, removal of septic systems, and providing homeowners monetary assistance to hook up to a sewer system.
