Brevard County continues to be a destination for tourists, a place for families to grow and thrive, and a location for businesses to prosper.

Space Coast Office of Tourism

  • Record-breaking March-$3.1 million dollars in revenue from the Tourism Development Tax (TDT)
  • $13.6 million collected from TDT for first quarter of 2023, a 20% increase over 2022

Planning & Development

  • North Brevard - Redevelopment of the vacant property at 500 E. Merritt Island Causeway, to offer more dining options and job opportunities to for residents and visitors.
  • Central Brevard - The Viera Company continues to grow in Central Brevard with the development of Addison Center, a mixed use residential and retail project on the east side of Stadium Parkway.
  • South Brevard - 165 new home sites with the completion of the Lakes at St. Sebastian Preserve in Micco.
