“Total Garbage: How We Can Fix Our Waste and Heal Our World”

What if our biggest environmental crises, from plastic pollution to climate change, are symptoms of just one malady? Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Edward Humes has zeroed in on our true archvillain: it’s not what we use that’s killing us, it’s what we waste. His new book, Total Garbage: How We Can Fix Our Waste and Heal Our World, is a story of individuals, campuses, and communities tackling waste and the crises it drives. Total Garbage is packed with practical solutions we can all embrace, turning division and anxiety into hope and action. Learn more at our chapter meeting on September 11th, 7pm.
