About the Senator Senator Henry Stern has represented the diverse constituents of the 27th district since 2016. He has worked tirelessly as a fierce advocate on important issues such as the environLent, clean energy, wildfire mitigation, housing, mental healthcare, and public safety throughout his community. Stern has chaired the Senate Natural Resources & Water Committee since 2018. He was recently appointed as Chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management. In addition, Stern sits on the Senate’s Budget, Environmental Quality, Judiciary, and Energy, Utilities & Communications committees, as well as the Budget Subcommittee on Resources, Environmental Protection & Energy. |
