Climate Allies Potluck Picnic

Sunday, December 7th

1:00 - 3:00pm

Everyone is welcome!  Please spread the word.

Join SFVCR for a Climate Allies Picnic at Woodley Park in the Sepulveda Basin on Sunday Dec. 7th, 1-3pm!

Come meet your fellow Valley climate folks at a potluck picnic where we can socialize and strategize together. Bring some food to share, and don't forget your reusable plates, silverware, and water bottles to keep it a zero waste event! We'll eat, catch up, and collaborate on vision boards to celebrate the climate progress we've made in our lives over the past year and brainstorm what changes we hope to make in 2026. Those who are interested can finish with a short walk through the adjacent Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve.

Location: Woodley Park Amphitheater

6100 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, CA 91406

Directions: From Woodley Ave, turn east into the park on Wildlife Way (there's a sign at the entrance for the Water Reclamation Plant, Japanese Gardens, and Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve). Bear right at the immediate fork in the road and go east ½ mile to where the road ends, and the Wildlife Reserve parking loop will be on your left. Park and walk south past the rock monuments and restroom building to the amphitheater and picnic tables behind it.

What: CA Legislative Hour of Action
When: Wednesday, 12/3 @ 6pm PT

Where: Zoom (virtual)
