Ravi Sankaran is President of the Del Rey Neighborhood Council and serves as the NCSA’s Alternate Representative to the LADWP LA100 Advisory Group. He has 20+ years in the electric power industry, primarily developing large-scale wind and solar energy projects that deliver clean electricity to customers in California and throughout the US West, including multiple projects that directly serve Los Angeles.

Dan Kegel is a member of the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council's Sustainability Committee and serves on LADWP's LA100 Advisory Group representing NCSA. A CalTech graduate, he has worked as a software engineer at JPL, Google, and now Fastly, always maintaining his interest in science, biology, and renewable energy. He has been an advocate for solar power since buying his first solar cell in 1977.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed rescinding the 2009 Greenhouse Gas Endangerment Finding—the critical legal foundation that compels the agency to regulate climate pollution under the Clean Air Act.

If finalized, this rollback would strip the EPA of its authority to regulate carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from vehicles, power plants, and other major sources. This action would dismantle decades of climate progress, undercut clean air standards, and put our communities, public health, and future generations at grave risk.
