Dear This Day in the Life of the Church Subscribers!

Greetings on Sts. Peter and Paul’s fast!

I am entering the last month of this “yearlong marathon.” First, I am grateful for your patronage. Then I am also grateful to Dr. Walker (John) Thompson who has been the academic editor for most of the time and to Subdeacon Seraphim Nesch, who has been the second editor from the very beginning and now remains the only one. I am solely responsible for all the typos, missing words and all other gaffes.

If you send me your testimonials about these daily reports, I may use them to promote my work. To support it and to stay tuned, consider becoming a paid subscriber if you haven’t already become one at patreon.com/rocorstudies.

It is official now. Fr. Anatole (Zhilin) served last week at the monastery in Jordanville a moleben for the successful completion of turning my dissertation into a book. On August 1, I am beginning this new “marathon” with the hope to have a manuscript nearly completed for publication within one year's time.

I would like to apply the same persistence I have been using for writing my daily reports. Also, the work on turning the dissertation into the book is elevated to the top of my priorities. I would like to hone and “recycle” the best of the daily reports. We'll see if I will have enough inspiration and time to add the new ones!

You may participate in this project of turning a dissertation into the book by contributing a donation at https://gofund.me/32cc8fb1

Without your attention, prayers, support and encouragement, This Day in the Life of the Church would not fly! I am very grateful to you and for you and I mean it!

Protodeacon Andrei
