Astor Winter Guide

Winter in London is a season of wonder, where the city sparkles with festive lights and a crisp chill fills the air. Staying in the heart of it all gives you easy access to iconic landmarks like Westminster Abbey and the beautiful Hyde Park, alongside cosy nooks offering steaming hot drinks and hearty comfort food. Wander through charming Christmas markets, glide across open-air ice rinks, and soak up the magic of winter festivals. It’s the ideal time to embrace London’s seasonal charm and craft unforgettable memories while staying in one of our perfectly situated hostels.

50 years ago, Alan Rivers decided to start what has become a family, a community, many Astor marriages and babies. . We are now hundreds of Astor friends, and we thank everyone that came to drink and cheer with us this past weekend.

Thank you to everyone who made Astor Hostels' 50th Anniversary party so special! Your warmth, laughter, and presence reminded us of the incredible community we have built together over the past five decades. Here’s to the friendships, memories, and adventures we have shared, and to many more ahead!
