In September, as downstream partner of the “Men Engaged: Transforming Mindsets Against Toxic Masculinities and Building Community-based Champions for Women’s SRHRs in Cameroon” project, we conducted informative sessions in the North West region of the country, where in total 44 young boys and men were educated on the concept of toxic masculinity. The aim of these sessions was to provide them with the right information and knowledge on what toxic masculinity is and how to practice positive masculinity in their respective communities. Through these sessions, we hope to create a generation of young men who respect and value people irrespective of gender, and promote gender equality. |
