Intergroup Needs a Treasurer

At the December 2024 Intergroup Service Elections the key position of Treasurer remained unfilled. The retiring treasurer oversaw the change from cheques to an online payment system. This has improved the efficiency of managing Intergroup finances.

Eligibility criteria for role of Treasurer includes attendance at SLAA meetings and a minimum 3 months self-defined sobriety.

How is Intergroup doing with Communications?

Improving communications with the national fellowship was identified as a priority when the Australian Intergroup was formed in 2022. 

Innovations include

• Greater use of the news section on the website
• Email Newsletter with over 500 subscribers
• Intergroup Minutes available via the Intergroup webpage
• Ongoing website enhancements
