The One on the River - Henley - Post Race Update

Good Evening,

As many of you will already know, sadly there was a serious medical incident at today's event. A mechanical issue with the participants' bike resulted in a crash along the route, and the decision was taken to suspend the rest of the bike race.

The on-site medical team provided assistance, and the gentleman was transferred to hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition. Our thoughts and best wishes are with him and his family.

Thank you for your patience and understanding that the bike element of the event was unable to continue following this incident. As I'm sure you can understand this has had an impact on the timing and results of the event. Our timing crew needs to perform some additional checks and adjust the results before we can publish them. We hope to complete this work on Monday, and will email you again when they are ready.
