Hello All, Welcome to the Newsletter for April. Winter is back! That's the April fools joke we are enduring from yesterday. I hope you didn't get fooled by too many other ones. The photo above is from the St. Patricks Eve celebration Kaat & I played March 16th at Washington Square in White Bear Lake. As you can see it was a very fun time with a packed house. I've got a pretty light show schedule for the month of April. Hopefully that will allow me to get a lot of work done on the other musical projects I'm working on. Marv & Kaat will also be working up new material for the busy spring and summer show schedule we have planned. For this month I'd like to highlight that we are starting back with monthly shows at the Chart House in Lakeville, MN. Saturday April 12 from 4:30-7:30 pm we will most surely be indoors. I'm also looking forward to the next months when we will hopefully be on the patio. Our favorite new place to play has been the 620 Club in St. Paul, MN. They were recently written up in Star Tribune as one of the best new places to get a burger. I have to vouch for them as all the food I've had there has been great. We'll be back to play there again Saturday April 26, 8:00 pm-midnight. Kaat has some cool solo shows and songwriter rounds booked this month. For more info on that check out: kaatwalk.com Who knows, I may even show up for some of those! Shane Martin's Songs of the South Alabama Tribute had a fantastic sold out show at Le Musique Room in St. Michael, MN on Friday March 21 at 7:30 pm. Next up for the band is a headlining slot at the Green Lantern's Spring Bash Festival near Brainerd, MN. Look for more info on that in next month's newsletter. The list below is everything that is planed so far for April and the beginning of May. Please check the website and click on the STAGE link for updates to the schedule. Thanks so much for your interest in the music. Hope to see you soon. Peace & Love, MG. |
