Hello All,

Wellcome to the first newsletter of 2025 and welcome to all the new people who signed up this past month.  Glad to have you on board this musical journey.  The picture above is from a Marv & Kaat show at the 620 Club a few weeks back.  We always have a fun time there and as you can see things can get a little crazy.  That's Micheal Lichey making sure I don't injure myself.  Michael is a good friend and fantastic guitarist, singer, songwriter who's played in Eddie Murphy's band and Badfinger.  You can find him playing solo shows in the northern suburbs.

First up for February is our first Marv & Kaat show of the year at the Iron Exchange Brewery, Saturday night Feb. 1st from 8:00-11:00 pm.  One of our favorite places to play with a huge stage and a baby grand piano.  Maybe we can get Tommy to sing some harmony vocals with us!

For Valentine's Day Friday February 14, Marv & Kaat will singing love songs and love gone wrong songs at Steele & Hops in St. Anthony Village from 7:00-10:00 pm.  Bring your sweetheart and sing along with the love songs or bring your anti-valentines group and cheer on the love gone wrong songs!

One last show I'd like to highlight.  Marv & Kaat will be driving down to Fairmont, MN for a rare winter show at the Sisseton Sky Lounge, overlooking beautiful frozen Lake Sisseton.  Friday February 21 from 5:00-9:00 pm.  We hope to see all of our southwestern Minnesota friends at that show.  We won't be back there till May.
