Hello All,

Summer is winding down and Kaat and I just finished two days on the Minnesota State Fair DNR Stage.  On a little bit of down time we found some cool refreshments with our videographer Hrishi Shah (photo above).  We met lots of new people and saw lots of old friends too!  Our last set on Thursday was cut short as a big storm roared through the fair grounds.  Other than that we had really beautiful moderate weather for our long show days at the fair.  I hope you all are doing okay after enduring a very stormy week in Minnesota.

Tonight! (August 30) Marv & Kaat are back at the Chart House in Lakeville, MN from 6:00-9:00 pm and also on the last Friday of September (the 27th).

For Labor Day weekend I'll be playing two rare solo shows at the Rice County Steam & Gas Show in Dundas, MN. (website: https://www.ricecountysteamandgas.com)  Both Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am-noon.  This is THE place to see a huge collection of vintage tractors and other pioneer artifacts.  A saw mill powered by steam, tractor pulls and many other demonstrations and fun things for the kids.  Besides all that there's more music with the Charlie Stichka Band following me on Saturday and the Dakota Ramblers (a great classic country band) following on Sunday.  (BTW I may be sitting in with the Ramblers).

Kaat and I are planning a trip back to Nashville in the middle of September.  Following that we are excited to play the Lakeville Art Festival Lakeville, MN, together Sunday September 22 from 2:00-4:00 pm.  At the end of the month I will be playing a showcase of Kaat's original material at the MetroNOME Brewery on Sunday September 29th at 6:30 pm.
