Curtiss A's 43rd Annual John Lennon Tribute, First Avenue, Dec. 8, 2022.

Hello All,

Happy New Year!

It's gonna be a be busy January, not just with snow shoveling, but with lots of music coming your way.  Kaat and I will play three venues this month that we haven't played together before.  Speaking of first times, you'll see above, Kaat's first time performing on the First Avenue stage.  We sang John Lennon's 'Working Class Hero' as a duet and sang with the full band on a bunch of other songs as well.  I'll be getting a full video of the duet on my YouTube channel real soon.

This Friday night, January 6th from 7:00-11:00 pm the Marv & Kaat show rolls into Hutchinson at the Main Street Sports Bar.  We're looking forward to playing there for the first time.  Friday the 13th we will play the Annadine in Dodge Center from 7:00-10:00 pm. The room is not spooky but very lovely and intimate.  The whole space is decorated in old pianos and pump organs.  I'm excited to play the piano on the stage.  Sunday January 22nd will be our first time playing Washington Square in White Bear Lake together.  It's an early show, 5:00-8-00 pm, in another very intimate setting.

The Songs of the South Alabama Tribute show has three performances this month.  First up is a show at The West Theatre in Duluth.  This is a show that was rescheduled from last Fall to Wednesday January 11th at 7:30 pm.  I really love Duluth and it's been a long time since I've played there, so I'm very excited to be at the newly remodeled theatre.  At the end of the month we play back to back shows at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.  Friday and Saturday January 27 & 28 at 8:00 pm.  This is THE hall for tribute shows in the Twin Cities and it's cool that we're back again this year with two shows.  They'll be fun shows, I hope you can make it!

It's a new year and I'm always looking for new things to do, new places to go, new ways to be fun, exciting and entertaining.  I feel like we're starting off the year with a bang.  Look for much more to come.  Thanks for all your support!
