Hello All,

Welcome to the December edition of Marv's Music Mail Newsletter. I spent two weeks of November in England.  The photo above is from my solo set at Fiddler's Elbow in Camden Town, an area of London which has become very trendy of late.  I guess they say legendary because the venue has been in existence for over 120 years.  It's also had some notable performers play there such as The Damned and The Vibrators.  James Bay filmed a music video there.  Anyway, I couldn't resist playing a fiddle tune at a place with a name like that!

I took the train to Northampton for my other show in England.  Stayed at the promoters home for a couple nights and played the Black Prince with the Galahad Complex.  For more information on that check out last months Newsletter.  All this years newsletters, and going forward, are being archived.  You can find them at the link below.

I had plenty of time between shows to take in the sights.  Some musical areas of interest were Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall.  Of course I had to go to Abby Road and to see Twickenham Film Studios, and  Olympic Studios where the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin recorded.  Denmark Street is guitar central in London, 5 or 6 guitar stores on one block.  Other sight seeing included Windsor Castle, Nottingham Castle, St. Paul's Cathedral, Kensington Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Museum of Natural History and too many other things to mention here. It was a great trip.

It's good to be back and playing shows close to home.  The list below is everything that is planned so far for December.  Please check the website for any updates.  I'd like to point out that it's the 44th Annual John Lennon Tribute show this year, always December 8th and on a Friday this year!  One of the very best shows of the year and not to be missed.

Thanks to all who came out to shows this past month, it means so much to me and I don't take it for granted.  I really appreciate it.
