Hello All, Welcome to the Newsletter for October 2026! Fall is here with all kinds of Fall activities to do! The photo above is from a day in July when we recorded tracks for 4 songs on Kaat's soon to be released album Build. L-R Kaat, John Wright on bass and co-producing, Noah Levy (Brian Setzer, Peter Frampton) on drums, Martial Besombes on piano, Marv, Elijah Deaton-Berg assistant engineer. We're celebrating the completion and release of the Kaatwalk album by playing an Album Release Show at Crooners main stage this coming Thursday October 1st at 7:00 pm. It'll be an expanded band with all of the above musicians plus Daryl Boudreaux on percussion. Tickets for the show are running low and it looks like we may have a sellout so get your tickets now! The CD package turned out beautiful with lots of photos and a booklet of lyrics. They'll be for sale at the show and future shows along with album themed t-shirts and sweatshirts. CDs of A Week In June and Build will also be available at South Metro Music in Burnsville, MN starting October 2nd with more record stores to come. The official release date for all digital outlets such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon is set for November 6. Kaatwalk will be playing a radio show called Monday Night Live, live from St.Cloud, Minnesota's KVSC Radio Monday October 19 from 9:00-10:00 pm. Harvest Fest is happening in Stillwater the weekend of October 10-11. There are events for the whole family and Marv & Kaat will be playing Sunday morning the 11th from 10:00 am-noon. Marv & Kaat will be playing a first time show at Luckys 13 in Burnsville, MN Friday October 23rd from 4:00-7:00 pm. Brews & Backroads Festival is happening October 10th at Crazy Legs Farm & Pumpkins
