As many of you know from previous Marvs Music Mail Newsletters, Marv and I have been working incredibly hard on getting the album, Build finished for you all this summer.
Well, I’m here now to let you know that we’ve not only accomplished that, but are putting on an album release show featuring the entire album, from top to bottom.
Beautiful story about the album name:
I wrote the title track, “Build,” a little over a year ago. I played it for the first time at MC's Tap House in Lino Lakes at a Marv and Kaat gig. The song was so new, it didn’t even have a name. I asked the audience for suggestions. That’s when a fan sitting close up suggested the name Build. I wonder if she knows that she named the album too. This story is so important because it’s one of many examples of how our music and art is so intertwined with our fans, friends, and family.
As pushing your own original band is an incredibly challenging thing to do, we are sooo grateful for years of your support and we look forward to BUILDing this with you!
