Hello All, Welcome to the Newsletter for May 2026! It's patio season and we've got lots of outdoor shows planned for the month if the weather cooperates! The photo above is from last May at the Chart House in Lakeville. Marv & Kaat will be there again this Friday May 8, from 6:00-9:00 pm. They have built a new bar building next to the patio that is quite impressive. I'm hoping it is ready to go. We have several new venues this month that we'll be playing shows at over the summer. The first one I'd like to mention is MC's Tap House in Brooklyn Park (not the one in Lino Lakes). We'll be there Friday May 22 from 6:00-8:00 pm playing an all original Kaatwalk show with maybe a few of my songs thrown in as well. Sunday May 31st from 4:00-7:00 pm Marv & Kaat will be performing at Cozzies Tavern on the outskirts of Stillwater. I've played there previously with another group and I'm excited to go back. They have a great patio and back yard area with a nice stage. Should be a fantastic way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. Looking ahead to June, I'll be playing with Shane Martin on the Main Stage at the Winstock Country Music Festival, Winsted, MN June 20. There's a great lineup on that day: 12:30 pm - Shane Martin, 2:35 pm – Easton Corbin, 4:40 pm – Sara Evans, 6:45 pm – Carly Pearce, 8:50 pm – Mitchell Tenpenny, and headliner 10:30 pm – Luke Bryan. You can get tickets now! Also coming up Wednesday June 24th will be a release party for the Kaatwalk EP A Week In June. Watch for it at the Aster Cafe in Minneapolis, MN 8:00-10:00 pm.
