Welcome to the Newsletter for May.

Well being May, patio season is finally here.  Of the thirteen shows scheduled for this month, eight will potentially be outdoors if the the weather holds up.  Starting the season off with a bang, this Sunday's May 4th Marv & Kaat show will be on the stage overlooking lovely Lake Sisseton and the chain of lakes at the Marina Lodge in Fairmont, MN with sets spanning from Noon to 4:00 pm.  Weather reports say it's going to be a beautiful weekend.

Shane Martin's Songs of the South Alabama Tribute is heading north on Saturday May 17th for a headlining slot at the Green Lantern's Spring Bash Festival near Brainerd, MN.  The band is going on at 8:00 pm with the band Lake Effect opening at 5:00 pm, gates open at 4:30 pm.  The evening is also being billed as a Lakes Jam Pre-party, this must be the earliest music and camping festival of the summer!

Marv & Kaat will be back on the front porch of the farm house at Holz Farm Park in Eagan, MN Sunday May 18 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  This is the most family friendly event we play all year with all kinds of fun activities including hay rides and farm animals to pet.  Bring the family!  Next up is a three day residency at the Tamarack Tap Room in Woodbury, MN, running from Monday May 19 through Wednesday May 21.  I believe this is the first time we've played a venue 3 nights in a row. Monday will be 4:00-7:00 pm and Tuesday, Wednesday will be 5:00-8:00 pm.  They have a great patio and in the past when we've played there they've had very fun themes to take part in.  I'm looking forward to what that entails this time around.

We'll be all over the map in May so I'm hoping that we'll be playing close to you at some point and we'll see you out at a show!  The list below is everything that is planned so far for May.  Please check the website and click on the STAGE link for updates to the schedule.  Thanks so much for your interest in the music.
