Dear Friend,

On Tuesday, March 3rd, the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks is proud to participate in The Big Share, an online day of giving hosted by Community Shares of Wisconsin.

This special day hosted by Community Shares of Wisconsin uplifts 82 member nonprofits working on the causes Wisconsinites care about most — from voting rights and healthy food systems to housing advocacy, criminal justice reform, and environmental protection.

We are honored to stand among them.

At Friends of Wisconsin State Parks, your support fuels the work of 65 Friends’ groups who give their time, talent, and treasure to care for Wisconsin’s 118 state parks, forests, trails, and recreation areas. From trail restoration and educational programming to habitat protection and volunteer leadership, Friends groups are essential partners in preserving the places that connect us to nature and one another.

Your gift during The Big Share helps us:

  • Strengthen local Friends groups across the state
  • Provide grants and resources for park projects
  • Advocate for strong funding for our public lands

Every donation makes a lasting impact.

We also invite you to join us LIVE at 2:25 PM on March 3rd for a special online presentation:

“With a Little Help From Our Friends: Fueling the Future for Wisconsin State Parks”

During this short and inspiring session, you’ll learn why supporting Friends of Wisconsin State Parks — and the 65 local Friends groups — is more important than ever.
