Hello, Friends!

This message comes to rally up some additional resources for your ability to get the word out and advocating for the reauthorization of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program.

One of the biggest takeaways from not only the town hall but in other conversations is to have a "Letter to the Editor." We have drafted two templates that will be service/reference to you in your outreach efforts.

Letter to the Editor Text Templates

You will find two templates in the above link. The first template contains more text. The second is more condensed at just under 140 words. Some newspaper outlets have a word limit of around 200. This is an opportunity to cater your letter to put in information about your specific experience, knowledge, and detail about what Knowles-Nelson has done for you and the property that you are passionate about.

If you need details about how many projects and funding have been provided to your property, please go to https://knowlesnelson.org/ and use the interactive map. Also touch base with your park managers to see if they have further details on projects.

Please reach out at any time if you have questions, comments, or further conversation on the matter.

Regards,
