Summer Winds Down, But Not the Call to Reauthorize Knowles-Nelson Hello, Friends! I hope that you are preparing for a fun-filled Labor Day weekend. As we enter the closing days of summer, much has been transpiring regarding the reauthorization of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. Earlier this week, Wisconsin Democratic lawmakers introduced a new bill to seek reauthorization of Knowles-Nelson. More information about this bill can be found here: WPR Knowles-Nelson Bill Introduction. Questions arise: What does this mean regarding the previous standalone bill presented earlier this summer? What's the process? The end goal? This is a perfect opportunity to remind you of our virtual town hall talk scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th at 6pm. We will discuss all of these matters as a group and rally ourselves up to be strong advocates as we educate our elected officials, friends, and friends of friends, about why we need this program more than ever. Please consider joining us on September 6th. The meeting signup is located below.
