Subject: Letter to Approved 2026 PSBIM Applicants - February 2, 2026



Dear Dr. ,

 

We are pleased to inform you that your application to take the PCP Certifying Examination for Diplomate in Internal Medicine to be administered by the Philippine Specialty Board of Internal Medicine (PSBIM) has been APPROVED.

 

EXAMINATION SCHEDULE AND VENUE

Date:    March 1, 2026 (Sunday)

Time:   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Registration starts at 7:00 a.m.)

Venue: JGSOM & PLDT-CTC Buildings, Ateneo de Manila University – Loyola Heights Campus, Quezon City, Metro Manila.



IMPORTANT GUIDELINES AND POLICIES

  • This is the only face-to-face PCP certifying examination via Examplify for 2026.
  • The College and PSBIM reserve the right to deny applications or disqualify examinees found to have deficient qualifications, even after approval.
  • Both the examinee and the Training Institution must immediately notify the PSBIM of any changes in qualifications.
  • Withdrawal Policy: Those who wish to withdraw must send a formal letter of withdrawal with a justifiable reason must be submitted by February 14, 2026.
    1. Only 50% of the fee will be credited to the following year.
    2. Failure to formally withdraw results in the total forfeiture of the examination fee.
  • Mock Exams: Participation in Mock Exams 1 and 2 is mandatory.
    1. Status: Our records indicate you have failed to accomplish the Mock Exam 1.
    2. Ensure you complete Mock Exam 2 from February 7–13, 2026.
  • Post-Exam Requirements: Passing candidates who have only submitted a Certification Letter of Completion or Provisional Certificate and have not yet submitted their Residency Diploma must do so at least one month before the May 2026 Oath-taking Ceremony.

 

 

EXAMINATION DAY REQUIREMENTS

Please arrive by 7:00 a.m. or earlier with the following:

  • A laptop with the latest version of Examplify installed.
  • Pre-downloaded SET A and SET B examinations (Available for download by February 23, 2026. No onsite downloading permitted).
  • Laptop charger and a Type-A (two-flat pin) adapter. No need to bring an extension cord.
  • Valid PRC ID.
  • Printed Exam Permit with QR code (Available for download by February 25, 2026).
  • Printed and signed Exam Waiver (wet signature required).

 

Personal Provisions:

  • Meals, snacks, and a water tumbler (JSEC Hall open stores are limited).
  • Personal hygiene kits and medications.

 

Prohibited Items & Sanctions

The following items are strictly prohibited inside the examination rooms:

  • Smartphones, Smartwatches, and Smart Glasses (including Meta-AI glasses).
  • Calculators, personal pens, paper, or writing materials.
  • Outside food deliveries or leaving the premises during breaks.

Any examinee caught in possession of these items or violating security protocols will be subject to immediate disqualification and further administrative sanctions by the Board.

 

Detailed exam instructions & rules of conduct, and the premise map will be sent to those who will successfully complete the Mandatory Mock Exam 2.
