🔥 Dynamic Organization Design Workshop

🎯 Tymofiy Milovanov conducted a workshop "Dynamic Design of Organizations" at the Kyiv School of Economics for the Ukrainian Association of Payment Systems (UAPS), which brought together more than 40 top managers and owners of the largest payment systems in Ukraine.

☝️Development of dynamic organizations is a topical issue in conditions of instability and uncertainty, which forces companies to quickly adapt their work processes and revise human capital management strategies.

✅ In particular, the workshop discussed the US experience in building a dynamic organization design and business strategy in Ukraine: they discussed the challenges and constraints facing the leaders of participating companies and how to work with them. Mr. Tymofiy also provided practical advice aimed at improving the efficiency of basic business processes.

💬 "The problem of any organization is not in the people, but in the design of relationships between them," - shares the insight of UAPS President Galina Hailo, on whose initiative the event was organized.

🎓 Kyiv School of Economics was the first to understand the need to train veterans and, with the support of the Zagoriy Foundation, opened an Entrepreneurship Program for ATO and OOS veterans.

🎬 At the same time, the Ukrainian veterans' business is being researched by the documentary series "Kruty Zamis" from the DocNoteFilms studio. Since 2017, more than 30 veterans who have started their own business have starred in three seasons. Many of them are graduates of our Entrepreneurship Program. An educational course aimed at providing knowledge of the basics and intricacies of venture capital investment in startups in the early stages of activity for individuals - beginners or active investors, aimed at increasing capital.

Course structure:

Explain the key types of sources of innovation funding and understand the stages of investment
Explain the stages and features of the investment process: from finding an agreement to leaving it by agreeing on the terms of the agreement and cooperation with portfolio companies
Know when, where to find and how to approach an investor
Have an understanding of how to build a network in the investment ecosystem, and what is the role of personal brand in it

Who is who in Faculty

Olga Afanasyeva, Ph.D.

Olga Afanasyeva serves as the Head of the Kyiv Branch Office at ELEKS, one of the biggest IT companies in Ukraine.

Before joining ELEKS, Olga was the CEO of the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) for six years where she transitioned to the Honorary Member role. Olga is the Author of the Invest Course for business angels and VCs.

In 2021 Olga joined the Board of Young Entrepreneurs Program by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) as the Chairwoman.

Financial Times and Google nominated her as a Changemaker New Europe 100. Olga is Ukraine's Ambassador of Women in Venture Capital, as well as Founding Advisory Committee Member at 100Women@Davos.

Olga holds a Ph.D. in Finance. Olga has 10 years of experience lecturing at University of Greenwich (London, the UK), the Ukrainian banking academy of the National Bank of Ukraine, as well as at the Jean Monnet Program of Erasmus +. She also worked at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
