✨ KSE Student Represented the University at an International Conference in Croatia

📅 From October 2 to 4, KSE student Sofia Diadchenko represented the KSE at the Second Annual ValEUs Conference held at University Libertas in Zagreb, Croatia.

The event brought together professors and students from around the world — from alliance partners in Denmark to youth representatives from Mexico — and focused on “State (In)Stability and EU Foreign Policy.” Sofia presented her research and joined discussions on challenges to EU foreign policy.

One of the highlights was a lecture by former Croatian President Ivo Josipović, who shared insights from Croatia’s EU accession process. Sofia also held a Q&A session with him on how this experience can be relevant for Ukraine.

🔎 The ValEUs project connects European universities to promote joint research, educational programs, and international collaboration.

📢 New Academic Club - Psychology of Digital Well-being

KSE launches a new academic club dedicated to exploring how digital technologies affect psychological well-being. It’s an open space for students interested in psychology in the digital age — from social media to artificial intelligence.

🔎 Participants will be able to conduct research, prepare academic papers and conference posters, and join discussions or propose their own initiatives.

The club is led by Maryna Dvornyk, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor at KSE Faculty of Social Sciences, and Laureate of the President of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists.

📅 Registration is open until November 10
💬 After registration, participants will be added to a Slack chat to coordinate meeting format and schedule.

🔥 SKELAR and Horizon Capital are launching the first Case Challenge!

A team competition for those who want to test their skills in solving real business problems from leading companies — from banks to tech giants.

The best participants will get a chance to receive an offer and join the investment teams of SKELAR and Horizon Capital.

Open to 3rd–6th year students of economics, finance, and management programs, as well as young professionals who graduated no more than two years ago.
The selection stage will be held online, and the grand final — in Kyiv at the end of November.

To prepare, participants can attend a series of lectures by experts in investment and business.
