Create Ukraine: An Initiative for Bringing Ukrainians Back from Abroad for Collaboration with the Ministry of Economy

Dear Colleagues,

In collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Government of Lithuania, and the EU, our team at the Kyiv School of Economics Foundation is implementing an important and strategic initiative – the “Create Ukraine” project.

This project aims to support young Ukrainians currently living abroad who wish to return to Ukraine and contribute to its economic development by working directly with those implementing reforms and working towards victory today. The application deadline for the program is July 31, 2024.

We kindly ask you to become a communication partner for “Create Ukraine” and share the opportunities offered by the program with your community – your support is important and highly valued by us.

“Create Ukraine” is part of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Government of Lithuania, and the Central Project Management Agency with the KSE Foundation, co-financed by the EU.

(The KSE Foundation is among the top five organizations that have raised the most funds to support Ukraine in the war, recognized as one of the most transparent charitable organizations, and awarded the “Golden Heart” by the President of Ukraine.)

The program offers:

  • Professional Advantages: Participants of “Create Ukraine” will work alongside the Ministry of Economy team on practical steps to overcome the crisis, attract investments, and other projects and initiatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
  • Education and Development: The “Create Ukraine” program includes an educational component aimed at enhancing participants' professional skills. Comprehensive training and leadership seminars, including a certified qualification program “Government Relations Specialist” from the Kyiv School of Economics.
  • Networking and Support: Working with mentors who will provide support and help in professional and personal development, a community of ambitious like-minded individuals. Additionally, access to free psychological support.

The program is available for:

  • Citizens of Ukraine aged 22 to 35 years old (the initiative is part of EU4Youth)
  • Professionals with at least one year of professional experience abroad or who have obtained a master’s degree from a foreign university
  • Those who have lived abroad for the past two years and are ready to return to Ukraine
