The agenda and April minutes are attached to this email for your review. We will be discussing various topics, including the afforestation areas, environmental education, and protection. Additionally, we will be highlighting developments around the PFG Prairie Forest Guide Indigenous alignment.  We will be discussing several environmental cultural and heritage writer applications, including those submitted by Entela Bejleraj, Esraa Abdelkarim, Sara-Ann Frampton, and Tanya Naistus. We will also be reviewing a quotation from driftscape.ca for their services.

Please review the attached documents and come prepared to engage in discussions on these topics. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any other board member.

I would like to draw your attention to our discussion of the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area and the George Genereux Urban Regional Park, both of which are important to our efforts towards environmental education and protection. I

We will be discussing the  City Nature Challenge CNC YXE 2023, which did take place from April 28 to May 1, 2023. We will also have a new business section, where we can discuss anything brought forward that is not on the agenda. We are very fortunate that Madeline has offered to conduct two tours during Arbor Week, and Ryan will continue working on the tree film.  One announcement we will be making is regarding the upcoming event "Our River. Kisîpînaw. Noo Rivyr," which will be detailed in the appendix.

Our chairman will report on several items, including the Regional Centres of Expertise (RCEs) 15th annual Awards for Achievement in Education for Sustainable Development, fencing, potential for parking area clean up, and a letter sent to the SPC-ENVIRONMENT, UTILITIES AND CORPORATE SERVICES – PUBLIC.

We will also review our financial report, which includes the O/S amounts for Chequing discretionary, GoC ECCC, and CoS 2022-23 WintercityYXE Micro-Grant Program grant. We will also discuss the budget meeting date and time, which has not yet been set.

Finally, we will discuss several upcoming events, including the Annual General Meeting, National Forest Week, Historic Places Days, Doors Open, Jane's Walk, and Arbor Week. We will also compile or list the Rightsholders requested by the City of Saskatoon YXE Green Infrastructure Strategy for the pilot master plan RSBBAA.

Please review the attached agenda and come prepared to discuss these topics at our meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your continued support of our efforts towards environmental education and protection.
