Jazz Party Kickoff with Delfeayo Marsalis

Grammy award-winning trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis of the legendary Marsalis family is opening the FIU Music Festival for a Jazz party not to be missed! He will join our very own FIU Faculty Jazz Quartet and FIU Jazz Big Band for a party like no other. He is “known for his technical excellence, inventive mind, and frequent touches of humor” (Los Angeles Times).

Opera Gala Concert with Santa Fe Opera Stars!

Of Angels and Devils: Kaufman & Stravinsky

Virtuoso Organist Alcee Chriss III

To honor the man and the musician, FIU 's Artist-in-Residence Ensemble, the Amernet String Quartet, together with violist Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, pianist Anton Nel, and cellist Bion Tsang, will perform a two-night chamber music extravaganza of duos, quartets, quintets, and sextets.

FIU Opera Workshop: An Evening of French Opera Scenes

The students of the FIU Opera Workshop, under the direction of Robert B. Dundas, present an evening of opera arias and ensembles from French Grand Opera. Selections from Bizet's Carmen, Massenet's operas Manon and Werther, Thomas' Mignon, and Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann will be represented.
