Rolling Stone just spotlighted our FIU Symphony Orchestra performance with Latin Grammy-winning icon Yandel as the inspiration behind his newly announced SINFÓNICO USA Tour 2025!

FIU students will join Yandel live on stage for his May 30 show in Miami and June 1 show in Orlando!

It all began when our students had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside Yandel at The Wertheim, blending reggaeton and classical music in a groundbreaking collaboration. The energy was unreal, the audience was on their feet, and now, the moment is getting global recognition.

From the Wertheim to Rolling Stone—and now on tour with Yandel—FIU musicians are making their mark. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement and can’t wait to see our students take the stage again.
