An inspirational visit with actor, stage director, and filmmaker, Andy Señor ('13) Last Friday, we were thrilled to welcome the phenomenal Andy Señor to Musical Theatre Forum. He offered invaluable insights into topics ranging from mentorship and his upcoming projects to the profound relationship between art, culture, and politics. His parents, both Cuban exiles, worked in the Latin American music industry. They often hosted gatherings at their family house, where musicians, including Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada, would perform. These familial connections would come full circle when, in 2015, Señor served as the associate director on the Broadway production of Gloria Estefan's musical, "On Your Feet!" He shared his passion for music and how it has evolved over the years. His connection to the art form runs deep and his stories left our students inspired. Thank you, Andy! |
