Strings United: From Baroque to the 20th Century

The FIU Music Festival’s opening night brings an unparalleled fusion of talent to the stage, featuring the world-renowned Amernet String Quartet and exceptional guest artists, Ani Kavafian, violin; Thomas Mesa, cello; and Mari Liis Päkk, violin. For two works, FIU students will join them for this compelling chamber music program, including Mendelssohn's Octet in E-flat major.

Cécile: A One-Woman Show of French Piano Music

Cécile Chaminade is the most famous French female composer you’ve never heard of! A hugely popular composer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, she was discovered by Bizet when she was just 12.

Explore her moving life story featuring Karin Lechner's virtuoso performance of Chaminade's greatest compositions.

La Ruta de Don Quixote - A Zarzuela World Premiere!

Immerse yourself in the world of Don Quixote with a symphonic interpretation by Rafael Rodriguez Albert, conducted by Spain's Gustavo Sanchez. This performance features Spain's leading soloists and FIU opera students.

Sondheim in Concert
