Since 2010, Helioss, a french extreme metal project, delivers some raging progressive black death
metal with a lot of symphonic influences. Having released a first EP and then 4 albums, Helioss is still
eager to write and release new precisely-crafted material.

Two years after « Devenir le soleil », their most ambitious work to date, Helioss are already back
and renew the deal with Satanath Records to deliver « Contre ma lumière », an even darker and
more progressive work of art. Focusing on complex but natural compositions from the mastermind
Nicolas Muller, the two-man act from France is pushing it's own limits, experimenting and bending
genres, melting progressive death metal, symphonic black metal and a lot of atmospheres into
something unique, violent and majestic.

Still featuring Mikko's (PROSCRIPTION, THE LIFTED VEIL) relentless drumming and D.M's
(CELESTIAL SWARM, GRAVEFIELDS and a lot more) many voices, this record, once again
mixed and mastered in the prestigious Henosis Studio by Frédéric Gervais, will please everyone
who's fan of bands like FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, SEPTICFLESH, CRADLE OF FILTH or
PROJECT HATE MCMXCIX.
