Death metal from Algeria Following the release of the “Lost” EP in 2020, Silent Obsession drops its latest EP “Countdown”, out now on CD Baby and available on over 100 digital streaming and music platforms worldwide. Written and composed by Max Marginal and produced by Redouane Aouameur of Fermata Studio Algiers, the “Countdown” EP portrays an in-depth extreme musical perspective into the devastating, global apocalypse.
“Countdown” features 3 highly packed tracks filled with musical ingenuity of raw power, heavy and aggressive riffage, brutal drumming and guttural vocals to match the thematic demise of the world. Max says, “It’s about the apocalypse, the end of the world.”
Highlighting the reflection of today’s society on his previous “Lost” EP, Max says, “Silent Obsession reaches the highest level of a global mental failure when madness becomes something legit in this society.”
