Sidus returns with his new single ‘Pale Dot’, which follows the footsteps of the post-rock legends Mogwai, slowly building the musical tension into an explosive finale. The song is also accompanied by a visualizer music video. It was produced and mixed by Spiros Olivotos (Sidus) and mastered by Steve Lado. ‘Pale Dot’ is a reference to the photograph of planet Earth taken on February 14, 1990, by the Voyager 1 space probe. It is also a conceptual continuum of the song ‘Prototypes/Replicas’, which explores the fundamental question of nature against nurture. ‘Pale Dot’ is depicting the same existential matter from a more distant perspective, observing human behavior and the interaction between mankind and our planet Earth from outer space. ‘Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives.
