This is a departure from their previous blackened doom sound that found common ground with My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Tryptikon, and Evadne. Thine Inner Sanctum's lead vocalist, Jay Ross, showcases his multidimensional talent, handling vocals, keys, guitars, and drum programming. His creative vision extends beyond music with him also steering the album's art direction. The album becomes even more mesmerizing with the hauntingly beautiful female vocals provided by guest artists Anca Scurtu and Jhyl Noble.
