Marking one year since his passing, Maestus has chosen to honor Jarrod's memory with a powerful rendition of Katatonia's "Rainroom" from their "Brave Murder Day" album. Tracked back in 2014 during the "Voir Dire" sessions, this cover marks the last song Jarrod recorded with the band. Driven by Maestus's remaining members - SP on guitar, bass, and vocals, and CL on drums - this cover serves as a musical celebration of Jarrod's fervor for doom metal and his passion for a life imbued with beauty.
